Can someone look at my budget and tell me what they think?

I'm trying to live minimally, pay off a little less than $3000 in debt and have enough to live off of. I'm actually a little shocked by how much less money I have left over. I used to buy and cook for people all the time and was a little extravagant on my own spending, but I've pared down and am now looking to see if this looks reasonable. My take home pay is $1800 without overtime, and right now we're on a overtime freeze. I do have a personal trainer that I know is a little needless to most people, but I had a gastric bypass less than six months ago, so it's essential for me as he keeps me in line and has been a great asset to my weight loss (or is high on my priority list). The following is my monthly expeditures. My credit card balances are less than $1000 together, and I also have about $2000 from taxes when I was young and stupid in 2004.

Housing: $450
auto insurance: $82
Cable: $15
Electric: $50
Gym: $22
Personal Trainer: $200
Taxes: $150
Credit Cards: $120
Cell Phone: $50
Savings: $350
Food: $100
Gas: $160
Discretionary: $50

My credit cards have an average of 20% APR (even though I've never missed a payment) and I'm paying just barely more than the minimum balance. My taxes are also killing me in interest. I know everyone is screaming, "Drop the trainer," but he's giving me a REALLY good deal, only $25 a session, and like I said, it's REALLY high on my priorities. The credit card companies refuse to lower my interest rates, and I don't have the resources to pay off the credit cards in full to cancel them.

Does anyone have any comments, or does this look like I'm on track?

How come I cant see any results from weight loss?

Height: 5' 9"
Weight: 173
Age: 17

Hey guys, I have a couple questions to ask. First, I've been recording weight loss. I started off 185 and right now, I'm at 173. But for some reason, I can't see a difference! I still look a bit chubby, and thats what I'm trying to shed off, the chubby-ness. I'm losing about 1.5-2lbs a week.

My second question is, how many grams of carbohydrates should i be eating? I'm asking this because I heard that excess carbs turn into fat, if they are not used for exercise. So with that being said, i feel as though I'm losing water weight, not fat weight, and thats the reason why I cant see a difference in my physique.

Can anyone help me out with this, please? And also, can you please answer all my questions? Thanks guys, much appreciation! :)

the dogs wont eat or drink. u can see there rib it looks like they havent ate over a month. there laying down when there not vom. these stuff started over the last day.

I was wondering if my vision board that i'm creating just has to circle around one topic, such as money or can it be about what I want out of life in general? Such as weight loss, love, money, & happiness combined?

Can you take the alli diet pill if your under 18?

i'm seeing my physician this week, and i was thinking of asking her if i should get the over the counter diet pill alli. i did a bunch of research and it seems like a good investment.

i need to loose 40 pounds by july because i'm having spinal surgery over the summer.. and i have been able to maintain a healthy lifestyle with a balanced diet and exersize, but the weight has just been coming off slow. i was hoping i could take it and it would help amplify my weight loss.

but i saw that it's reccomended for people over 18. if my doctor approves me, can i take it? what if my doctor says no? should i get it anyway b/c its over the counter?

Bottled juices for a juice fast?

Has anyone tried a juice fast without using real fruits and vegetables in a juicer? Can I have the same positive effects and weight loss from fasting on bottled juices, such as V8 fusion?
This is just a temporary diet for cleansing and kick-starting weight loss, not a long term thing for me, so don't think that!

R-CHOP/Cancer Weight Loss?

Hi everyone,

I am wondering: did anyone else on R-CHOP Chemotherapy lose or gain weight during treatment? I am not on Prednisone or any steroids. I am simply taking Lansoprazole to reduce stomach acid, which doesn't cause weight gain.

I've read some absolute horror stories about people gaining 35lbs in 8 months on R-CHOP.

Don't get me wrong: I am not going to refuse treatment regardless of whether I gain weight, but almost every story I have read people have talked about massive weight gain – this concerns me, as my nurse told me to eat 3,000 calories a day!

I am quite chubby as it is so the last thing I want is to be overeating and gaining weight from the treatment.

Great weight loss work out?

I go to the gym at the local AF base 6 days a week but i need a routine to follow that involves cardio and weight machines. I am just getting back into exercise and am greatly out of shape so i need to start out pretty easy but work into something. i do incline treadmil for about an hr and weight machines for arms and legs for 3 sets of 15. is there anyone who can direct me to a full routine or have one they can share? thanks

Do you think its a healthy goal for a size 16 girl (me) to get down to size 6?

I am size 16 right now (went up a few sizes throughout highschool). Now that I am in college, and summer is coming, I'm ready to lose all this weight. I am at 180 pounds currently. My short term goals are to lose 2-3 lbs a week, and hopefully lose 25 lbs in 12 weeks (3 months). If I do reach this goal, I will be back down to a size 10/12 (for my height: 5'2") at 155-160 lbs.

After that, my long term goal (aside from keeping the weight off) is to lose 30 more pounds (gradually) until I reach my goal weight of 120. That would make me a size 5 or 6. Is this a realistic goal if I plan on exercising at least 30 minutes a day and count caloric intake based on my BMR? (which changes as you lose weight)
