<p>        Do you think its a healthy goal for a size 16 girl (me) to get down to size 6?
<div>I am size 16 right now (went up a few sizes throughout highschool). Now that I am in college, and summer is coming, I&#39;m ready to lose all this weight. I am at 180 pounds currently. My short term goals are to lose 2-3 lbs a week, and hopefully lose 25 lbs in 12 weeks (3 months). If I do reach this goal, I will be back down to a size 10/12 (for my height: 5&#39;2&quot;) at 155-160 lbs. </p>
<p>After that, my long term goal (aside from keeping the weight off) is to lose 30 more pounds (gradually) until I reach my goal weight of 120. That would make me a size 5 or 6. Is this a realistic goal if I plan on exercising at least 30 minutes a day and count caloric intake based on my BMR? (which changes as you lose weight)</p>

<div>My normal weight is around 120, im around 5&#39;4&quot;. I had my second child 4 months ago, lost most of the pregnany weight i gained and then i decided to get mirena and since i have been gaining weight like crazy, im now about 180!!!! i have tried many diets and working out but the scale doesnt change and neither does my body shape! i try watching what i am eating, but i do eat junk food on occasion but not often and when i eat it i dont binge on it. i have been on the mirena for 8 weeks (2months) and have been bleeding since i got it. i am not sure if the mirena it the cause of my rapid weight gain. if anyone has been through this or has good weight loss programs or diets please help me! thanks!</div>

<p>        Why am i not loosing weight?
<div>Okay so i really want to lose weight, i am 155 pounds and 5 foot 5. I have been eating really healthy. I&#39;m trying to eat around 1300 calories a day. And i am quite active too. I am a competitive dancer, so on tuesdays i dance from 5:00pm-9:15pm with a 15 minute break, on wednesdays i dance from 5:00pm-8:00pm with no break, on thursdays i dance from 5:pm-9:15pm with no break, and on saturdays i dance from 9:30am-4:45pm with a hour and a half break and a fourty-five minute break.<br />My goal is to lose around 30-40 pounds but its been really hard. I lost 10 pounds at the beginning of the year and it came off really fast, and then i just kinda maintained my weight. Now i am trying to lose weight again but its not coming off as easy as last time. And sometimes i will lose a pound or 2 but it doesnt stay that way, its like four an hour and then when i eat a meal i gain it back. Its really weird. And this is my second week of eating really healthy. Idk if i&#39;m just too impatient lol.<br />Any successful weight loss stories of your own appreciated too! <br />Thanks for the help!</div>
