Was anyone else a fan of Megan Fox pre-Transformers?

I remember it. 2004. 9 years old. Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen with Lindsay Lohan was about to come out. Disney Channel did an interview with Megan during a commercial break of one of my shows. I fell in love with her and I didn't even know who she was.

Shame, because now she's an overrated Angelina-wannabe pothead.

Why is everyone hating on Megan Fox?

I mean, her acting isn't bad at all,
the scene in Transformers, when they're in the car, and when she says, "I can't tell you how much I'm not your little bunny", it really shows how good of an actress she was.
So she's really pretty. Really, really pretty. But people seem to automatically think that it makes her a stupid bad actress, without actually paying any attention to her actual skill.
Can someone please explain why everyone is such a jealous douchebag?
