How much do you pay for life insurance?

I would like to know what a typical premium is for term life insurance? I'm in a situation where if i die, there will be people that may struggle financially. I know there are many variables but just based on typical scenarios? I'm 30, healthy and i would think $500K would be enough to handle the bills if i wasn't around… I know i won't get it until i know it's very necessary and I plan to do more research but just curious.
Thanks

About life insurance policy?

Larry Sorich, as part of his estate planning, assigned his $100,000 group term life insurance policy to his niece. Larry's employer provied for only $50,000 of coverage; therefore, the niece paid for the premiums on the supplemental insurance. Larry did not include in gross income the premiums for the supplemental insurance. Larry's adccountant challenged him on his arrangement. who prevailed and why?

How should I go about choosing a term life insurance broker/company?

I'm married with two children and have one more on the way (very early on in the pregnancy). I'm 29yo, but my father passed away of a heart attack when he was 39. I'm having trouble going the easy route… ie, online, and need some advice on how to choose someone.

Life insurance companies and mental health issues?

Someone I work with is interested in buying a term life insurance policy but is afraid she won't get coverage because she has had some situational depression and has had a suicide attempt as a minor.

Do life insurance companies dig up health information of as far back as your health records go (minors?)?

Should I unload my Variable Life Insurance?

Should I unload my Variable Life Insurance?

I have had this variable term life insurance policy for almost 10 years now and it hasn't kept up with the projections the sales guy told me 10 years ago. This is mainly due to the high fees. About 55% of my yearly contribution is lost in "fees". There would be a surrender charge if I were to withdraw. Should I take the hit or keep putting an annual contribution into this account? I do have life insurance through work should anything happen.
