“Giving birth was the most intense and life-changing experience,” Bündchen, 29, writes. “I am blessed to have been able to have a home birth surrounded by love, where I was able to feel safe. It was a powerful experience. I never felt so vulnerable but so strong at the same time.”

“I was so present to witness the biggest miracle in my life happen before my very own eyes,” her post continues. “To give life to another being – what a gift!”

When baby Benjamin, the supermodel’s first son with husband Tom Brady, was placed in her arms, “I looked into his precious eyes and felt an overwhelming, unconditional love,” she writes. “I felt a huge sense of accomplishment . . . I never felt so complete and empowered in my life.”

Bündchen also credits her mother, Vania, for being such a positive role model. “I grew up witnessing my mother always trying her best at doing all she could for the 6 of us girls. My mom devoted her entire life to her family and did it with such grace,” she writes. “She is my hero. She is the reason why I believe that a woman is the core of a family.”

Continues the supermodel: “I can only hope to be for my kids what she will and always be for us – our rock.”

Can someone at the BMV reverse my licence from being cancelled?

I got a notice from the BMV saying that my auto insurance will be cancelled 4 days from now because I couldnt provide proof of insurance for a ticket I got. The reason is because my auto insurance cancelled my policy the day before I got the ticket and didnt tell me, and then I got re-insured only 3 days later. I live in Indiana and the state law is that you lose your licence for 90 days anytime you drive without insurance, but due to the nature of my situation is there anyone at the bmv who has the authority to reverse this decision?

What is a good, affordable auto insurance?

I currently have Famers and have been a loyal customer to them for several years. I have no priors, no tickets and I'm a great driver. They have just increased my rates and I don't agree with that. Could there be a reason . In the mean time, I think I would like to shop around for different insurance. Thanks for any ideas.

Should women pay higher Social Security Insurance Rates?

Inspired by an earlier question about the gender difference in auto insurance rates, the answer seemd to be that male-caused accident payouts are higher (for whatever reason), thereby justifying higher insurance rates. That is, men are the higher pay-out risk.

Let's apply that reasoning to the U.S. Social Security Insurance Program. Originally conceived during the Depression, the Social Security Insurance Program was designed to provide some kind of post-retirement insurance that you would have some level of income after retirement (if you lived that long, which is why it is an insurance program). However, women live longer than men (in the statistical sense). And, on average, women recieve nearly twice as much social security income as men (per dollar payed into the program). Should women pay roughly double the rate that men pay to cover this higher "payout risk"?

Curiously, I have never heard a feminist complain about this Social Security Insurance rate inequity, though I have raised the above question with feminists many times. Why, I wonder, is that?

Where can I get a replacement rear spoiler for a 2008 Rav4…..Help please?

So I just got a new (to me) 2008 Toyota Rav 4. I was backing out of my garage and for some reason the door did not go all the way up. I ended up hitting it and putting about a two in hole in the rear spoiler (the fin with the rear tail light in it). I called a Toyota dealer and also went to a body shop. They both said the replacement was almost $1,000. That also happens to be my insurance deductible. Anyone know how I can find a used one or somehow get this Replacement part cheaper? Is it possible to somehow patch it? The auto body shop I went to said it had to be replaced, but is it possible to just patch it up or something?

I live in New Jersey,got my license 5months back.I am currently with Geico auto insurance.
My 6 months payment for geico is 1600$.My friend who ha same driving experiance and with same coverage and only difference between me and my friend is age differece,he is 4 yrs younger than me.
His 6 months payment is 650$
I pay my bills regularly and have got secured credit card with limit of 2000$.
I am very much worried about this..Please suggest me the possible reason for this..

Filing a complaint about my lawyer?

I was in an auto accident, with 3 other people. We all went to the same lawyer but signed seperate contracts. Since day one, there has been zero communication from them, and due to this they never told me what I should do with any medical bills. But when I did call they just told me to send the bills into their office. I did this.

I recieve my settlement breakdown in the mail over a week ago, and one of my bills had been left unpaid. My lawyer explains he told my dad to tell me to send them into MY insurance. This was NEVER told to me..hence, the reason why my bill never got paid.

Over the last week and a half, I have made four calls and sent out 4 different e-mails, only to get responses that beat around the bush, or have nothing to do with the issue at hand AT ALL.

Aside from this, he continues to share my confidential information about my case to the other 3 people involved in the accident (for expample, the amount of money I got in the settlement..what DR I go to..etc etc)

Me & my mom are filing complaints…but WHAT do I need to include, any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated…or am I out of line? Is what he is doing fair?

My renewed 6-month policy has increased by $120 for seemingly no reason. Haven't had any wrecks or tickets. I called geico to inquire, and was told that all rates in Texas have increased. Have other insurance companies rates increased as well?

How much auto coverage should I have in Wisconsin?

I own a 2008 Scion tc, and a 1990 Honda Accord LX. The Scion still has a lien against the title, and I have full coverage for this reason. I use my Honda as a primary car to drive to and from work with liability coverage only. What I have for coverage now is:

Bodily Injury: 500,000/person 1,000,000/accident
Property damage: 500,000/accident
Underinsured and uninsured: 500,000/person 1,000,000/accident
Medical Payments: 10,000
Comprehensive & Collision: 500 deductible

Is this too much? My agent said something about a new law in Wisconsin making it "stack" for each car, so technically, I have double that coverage, and my premiums just went up. I'm looking for a way to get some cheaper premiums without exposing myself to too much risk. How much insurance do I really need?

I feel like my life is just gone and faded away..im 20 and live with my mother cuz im in college full time..i dont have any money so im trying to get a job but its a small town here and nothing is happening …business is slow here and jobs are full. I want to get my licence since my permit expires next month..i dont have any help of my mother (she abuse me) the reason why i need her help is because i have to be added on her insurance to get my licence . it still wont help if i got my own car because they wont let u add on ur own unless u have a licence..it sucks and i dont have any money…i bust my *** to get a job for over 10 months but no one is calling me..im always at home cleaning and watching my mom kids…and going to school ..i dont have friends and my family like my uncles and aunts wont help me cuz they have their own issue…my dad is in iraq and i dont live with him…my life is messed up all i want to do is get a life but living in this small town isnt gonna get it..what would you do ??
