In Texas, do you have to show proof of auto insurance before renewing your driver's license?

I just started new auto insurance, and i have taken driving courses in high school. Now that being said, its been 4 years since Ive been in high school. I am not sure if i can find the documents proving that I took the course here. Will they be able to provide the proof? I sent an email, hopefully I will get a response soon.

My daughter, 22, was living at home. She failed to live up to her end of the agreement we had for her to contribute room and board for when she lived under my roof. She had and continues to have a part time job and supposedly goes to college part time. She did meet and was "dating" or so I thought what I considered to be a nice man. They said that "someday they intended to get married" I learned last night that they had gone to the borough hall back in March and got married – with her still living in my home and with me providing for her (food, laundry, auto insurance, getting college grants using my tax info when she was married, and using her maiden name to obtain grants and still using my auto insurance, etc) She moved in with this guy back the 1st week of October – we thought they were living together and now I find and have proof from the courthouse that they were indeed married back in March. Should her husband of all this time be responsible for reimbursement to me for financially providing for his wife for the past 6 months? I figure if he was "man enough" to get married – then he should have made a way to 1. provide for her, and 2. be honest. I cannot believe they got married after only dating for not even 2 months. And no, she is not pregnant.

I found out my auto insurance lapsed because my bank put a fraud hold on my account and the autopay for them didn't go through. I never got a notice in the mail, though they claim to have sent it (to the wrong address, I have forwarding though and get all my other mail even from them).

I reported an accident 2 days after the cancellation date without knowing this had happened, they gave me a claim number, had an appraiser out to look at my car, etc.

I got a phone call after that saying my policy was canceled for non-payment.

The insurance company has refused to let me speak with anyone higher up than the customer service agents I've spoken with already and will not show me proof they mailed a notice.

The policy states they will notify you no less than 10 days prior to a cancellation for non-payment of premium. I never got the notice nor was the non-payment my fault.

Can they do this?

How can they give me a claim#, put me in a rental car, appraise my vehicle as a total loss, THEN say no, return the rental car or it's your responsibility to pay for everything. AND deny that I speak to anyone else?

I wasn't even the at-fault party so it's not like they have to really spend money here. They can go after the other guys insurance.

Okay, ehre is the deal, my insurance was supposed to be taken out of my account monthly, it never happened so I signed up for it again in July, well on August 25th I got a notice via email that my insurance lapsed due to non-payment on the 21st…so I called the insurance company on Septemebr 5th and paid the amount to reinstate coverage through the automated payment line. The payment was taken out of my account of September 8th. I have proof of that. Well I called yesterday after getting into an accient and the automated system tells me that my coverage was cancelled due to non-payment on the 21st of August so I pay the amount again because I know my payment is due again and I figure I will call to get everything straightened out since they made a mistake. After holding for twenty minutes, I learn my policy was never reinstated even though I paid to reinstate it and the automated system which I have used SEVERAL times before successfully told me it was reinstated then they tell me I shouldn't have paid another payment because my policy is due to be renewed this week so now I have a credit of $238 so I only owe them $20 to reinstate, which I had no intentions of doing and they are saying I should have spoke to someone. I was not AT FAULT for the accident so the other person's insurance has to cover my vehicle, but I don't want there to be a problem since there is a lot of damage done to my car and my back. Please someone help me! I have been screwed, I feel like and I am totally stressed out!!

A month ago I was involved in a car accident. A girl hit me trying to change lanes on the freeway, we exchange information and made the call to our insurance company next day. A month later I received a letter in which her insurance company says that I am responsible for the accident. She stated that I hit her trying to change lanes. I know that trusting her was my mistake, I have no proof, there was no police report. My only card is to call her in a good way to see if we can get an agreement and maybe at some point she would admit her guilt. My plan is to record the conversation and use it at court.

I have kind of a stange situation here, i just dont know how to go about getting the title to my car. I bought a car in June 09, had the plates transferred from my old car, which i junked. I signed all the forms and paid the tax and fees at the dealership to transfer the tags, etc..i asked if there was anything else i needed to do, and no they said they turn in the stuff to the dmv for me. So, when it came time to renew my tags (in DEC) i realized i hadnt received anything from the dmv (a title for the car, a new registration paper) i dont know why i didnt realize it sooner, but it didnt come up. Ive been paying insurance all along (auto debited from my bank account for the past few years)..anyway i took the proof with me to the dmv that i did have (the transfer of title paperwork) and come to find out the company never bothered to send in the paperwork to the DMV at all-the tag is still registered to my old car! Now, of course this small dealership i bought the car from is out of business and i cant get hold of anyone. Is there anyone that has any idea how i can obtain the title for the car now? All ive got is the paperwork i mentioned. Is there any recourse i can take? Can i just apply for lost title? I am in Florida, if that makes a difference.

I have a Ford Focus 2003 station wagon ZTW.

My insurance wants to charge me for not have anti-lock brakes when i know for sure that i have them on my car (according to what the previous owner says). When i took my car to my agent he said he couldnt find the anti-lock brake light on my dashboard so there for i have to pay for the fee unless i can supply proof that i have them in a manual or something of the soarts.

Does anyone know where there is proof that i have anti-lock brakes on a 2003 ford focus station wagon ztw?

So yesterday A car hit mine, passenger side at the front, ive been told it was my fault because I pulled out with plenty of time but the other car didnt see me and carried on speeding.
anyway she rang me today and asked if i wanted to go through insurance to repair her car, her car , has suffered a few scratches about 10cm in length and white in colour so obviously werent hairline, theyre not major but noticeable if you look for them, shes also claiming she has a small dent above her wheel arch, even though my car has come out spotless :S
How much does it usually cost to fix small dents and minor scratches?
also, is it better for me to do it off my own back rather than my insurance?
as i only passed my test last week and have only been insured for 3 days!!!
insurance already costs me 2324.00 a year because my car is a punto sport 16v and im a young inexperienced driver, will my premiums go up loads if i claim off my insurance?
also what proof of charges should i get off this girl if i do go off my own back?
i said to her id rather not go through insurance and she said shes going to get some quotes on monday,
ive asked her to get written proof of the quotes on company headed paper or stamped/signed by the mechanic.
also to provide a contact number.
help pls?
