my wife had an accident a few years ago but now it is off her record but my insurance still has 5 months left. i don't want to keep paying a lot more if i don't have to. can i cancel to switch to another company

Are premiums raised every time you get sick like premiums are raised every time you get in an auto-accident? If you get an existing condition WHILE being covered under an individual plan, do they raise premiums by a lot?

Is their service good? Even if I could save a lot but receive a crappy service in return then I'll just stay with my current insurance.

Okay, ehre is the deal, my insurance was supposed to be taken out of my account monthly, it never happened so I signed up for it again in July, well on August 25th I got a notice via email that my insurance lapsed due to non-payment on the 21st…so I called the insurance company on Septemebr 5th and paid the amount to reinstate coverage through the automated payment line. The payment was taken out of my account of September 8th. I have proof of that. Well I called yesterday after getting into an accient and the automated system tells me that my coverage was cancelled due to non-payment on the 21st of August so I pay the amount again because I know my payment is due again and I figure I will call to get everything straightened out since they made a mistake. After holding for twenty minutes, I learn my policy was never reinstated even though I paid to reinstate it and the automated system which I have used SEVERAL times before successfully told me it was reinstated then they tell me I shouldn't have paid another payment because my policy is due to be renewed this week so now I have a credit of $238 so I only owe them $20 to reinstate, which I had no intentions of doing and they are saying I should have spoke to someone. I was not AT FAULT for the accident so the other person's insurance has to cover my vehicle, but I don't want there to be a problem since there is a lot of damage done to my car and my back. Please someone help me! I have been screwed, I feel like and I am totally stressed out!!

Well i'm not a pilot yet but i will be starting to get my hours this summer… I am in good health but, that little question always lingers "What if". My parents are financially safe, although i would like them to get a large monetary compensation should something happens to me, i know it's no replacement for me, but, i just want them to finally have the fun they always wanted growing up. Have the nicer home, have the nicer cars and everything. I've felt like i've been holding them back cause i have a lot of extracurricular and college classes and marching band and just a full schedulee. So would accidental death insurance be good for me? IF so how much? And if so, is there a formula so i can calculate appropriate coverage. Thank you

im from illinois and am insured through Farmers Insurance. i recently got into an accident and my insurance company is showing the repair estimate a lot higher then i can actually get the car fixed for. i think theyre doing this to claim my car a 'total loss'. is there a way i can dispute their repair estimate and have them approve the repairs instead of totaling my car? thanks

i turned 16 in January and ive had my permit for 8 months but my parents wont take me to a driving school so we would have that discount on the insurance when i get my license. i tell my dad that i want a truck but he says that im getting his old buick century. a lot of times he jokes around with things but im starting to believe that im getting his old buick. what can i say to him that would make him know that i dont want the buick and i want a truck?

I've never learned how to do my taxes, and tomorrow my mom is goin to tell her accountant to do my taxes, and I just want to know what to expect. My mom is always watching my money, so if I don't have a lot she'll get mad. I'm 19, and in college so I work for her, she owns her own business, so she pays me 10$ an hour, so I roughly make around 300$ every 15 days. I don't have any expenses, no bills. Except if you count gas for my car..but I don't even pay my own insurance. But I do spend a lot of money, I travel a lot, and shop a lot. So I just want to know what to expect the accountant to tell me. Will I get money back or will i end up having to pay something? I don't even know how taxes work. so any details will help. thanks.

I am 18 and graduated high school early. My current fast food job sucks and doesn't even pay my $150/m insurance. I love cars and sell things on craigslist a lot so I am considering a car salesman job. I have about 8 months before college and would like to make some money, and hopefully purchase a newer vehicle. Not new, just something different than my first car. So far all the research I have done said they work long hours, but do make good money if you can move cars. I don't plan on making $40k+, I just want enough to where I can afford to take my woman out to eat once in a while, get a newer car, and live comfortably without too many worries for the first bit of college. I live with my parents, and college is already paid for, so everything I make is almost 100% profit. I just want some opinions from people who might have been in my situation, or are salesmen now.
