<p>        Should I stay hold on for this relationship?
<div>We have been together for nearly 5 years, but I am finding its harder and harder to be attracted to him. He says he cares about the way he looks but frequently he wont even look in the mirror before leaving the house and will often not notice the bed hair wing at the back. He doesn&#39;t care what he wears to the point of wearing around the house cheap track pants he has had since he was about 15 (hes nearly 25). We both have gym memberships but her refuses to go and instead will diet for a few weeks and loose weight but that just leaves him thin and washed out. <br />I really try to help him but it rarely works for long. <br />He also barely pays attention to me intimately other than the odd platonic cuddle. It really ruins my selfconfidence that no matter what I do or wear he doesn&#39;t care. I&#39;ve tried to indulge fantasies or anything that will help but he&#39;s not interested. I know I am attractive I am still young and fit and all that and I still draw looks. <br />I know he loves me madly and we are thoroughly compatible as people but without the physical it sounds like a friendship to me. <br />He&#39;s very high maintenance and I am happy to keep him but I just feel like I get nothing back other that flat out companionship, unfortunately its the kind I could get from anyone. </p>
<p>I suppose the question is do I hang on and try to help him become the person he says he wants to be and a person I can have a physical relationship with or do I throw it in and risk trying to find someone else.</p>
<p>Please no nasty comments this is a genuine question. Please remember at 24 the physical relationship IS actually important to maintain and not inevitable to fade its inevitable to dull but not disappear.</p></div>

<p>        Can losing weight too fast give you loose skin?
<div>I know when you are young, your skin has better elasticity, but does losing weight too fast defeat this, and leave you with a lot of loose skin?</p>
<p>I know building muscle won&#39;t be able to fill out all the loose skin, also.</p>
<p>I need to lose 160 pounds, and want to do so by exercising and eating less/better. But would the rate of loss, if it exceeds 2 pounds a week, produce enough excess skin that it would need to be gotten rid of by surgery?</p></div>

<p>        There&#39;s no point in me loosing weight. Weight gain has ruined my life.?
<div>I&#39;m an 18 year old male and in the last year I&#39;ve gained almost 70 pounds (I&#39;m now 250 lbs). I used to be an extremely active person, playing basketball, was a lifeguard at the YMCA, ran every day, and other activities but this past year I&#39;ve fell into a huge depression which has caused me to be slothful and not watch what I&#39;m eating. I&#39;ve gained all this weight in one year. Looking at myself in the mirror literally makes me cry, yes I&#39;m a guy but to see what I was and then to see me how I am now I can&#39;t help but start tearing up. I have horrible stretch marks on my WHOLE body (stomach, armpits, arms, back, legs, etc) and I know they will never go away. Even if I did loose weight my skin is beyond repair. I will always have the stretch marks on my whole body and my skin will be loose and cottage-cheesy and lumpy, especially on my stomach. Having the contrast of knowing how I was and how I am now is heartbreaking and I know that there&#39;s nothing I can do to change what I&#39;ve done with my body and it will never be the same. My skin is forever ruined and I won&#39;t be able to swim (the only thing I really loved doing) without a shirt because of the loose, grainy skin I will develop from weight loss. It seems hopeless, I will have to live the rest of my life remembering 1 year of my life in which everything fell apart from depression. I&#39;ve seen the pictures of people from weight loss, it&#39;s not pretty and being fat isn&#39;t much worse. I&#39;m only 18, and my physical life is ruined and my skin will be disgusting for the rest of my life.</p>
<p>I just want to give up. Why should I even loose weight . . . there&#39;s no point.</p></div>
