by admin on Apr.06, 2010, under celeb gossip
Jesse James
- A day after news broke of Jesse James’s alleged infidelity to Sandra Bullock, he was seen dropping his children off at school in Southern California Thursday.
“Jesse seemed very tense and kept biting his lower lip,” an eyewitness says. “Still, he seemed to want to keep the morning as normal as possible for the children’s sake and walk them into school hand-in-hand.”
James, who was wearing his wedding ring and a black hat pulled down low, was driving quickly and appeared somber, according to onlookers. He was seen earlier in the morning at the family home he has shared with Bullock.

Bullock, 45, left the house on Monday just days before the reported infidelity surfaced, a source tells PEOPLE.

The actress left the Southern California house she shares with James just days before a report of infidelity by her husband surfaced, a source tells PEOPLE.

Bullock, 45, left on Monday, the source says. Bullock, who won her first Oscar – a Best Actress award – for The Blind Side on March 7, also abruptly canceled a trip to Europe for the London premiere of the film.
Bullock and James, 40, met in 2004 during a tour of the set of the Discovery Channel’s Monster Garage, which James starred in.
The couple married a year later, in July 2005 in a sunset ceremony at a ranch north of Santa Barbara attended by 300 guests.

Danica McKellar and her husband of one year, Mike Verta, are expecting their first child this fall.
“I’m nearing the end of my first trimester and I’m so excited – I’ve been bursting to tell people,” says McKellar, 35, who played Winnie on The Wonder Years, tells PEOPLE exclusively.
However, she originally put off confirming her suspicions. “I was in the middle of a really intense deadline for my book,” explains McKellar, whose third tome, Hot X: Algebra Exposed, comes out in August.
“I wanted to put off the [pregnancy] test because I didn’t want any distractions. That only lasted a day – I couldn’t stop thinking about it and I caved! You can’t try to put that off.”
Initially, even McKellar herself couldn’t believe the news. “When you do take the home pregnancy test, it doesn’t quite seem real,” notes the mathematician and mom-to-be. “But when you see the baby and the heartbeat on the ultrasound, it’s so incredible.”
“Me and Mike looked at each other and we could not stop the tears,” she says. “We are so happy.”

There will be a new addition to “the gang” this summer – It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia stars Kaitlin Olson and Rob McElhenney are expecting their first child in August, the couple’s rep tells PEOPLE exclusively.
“Rob and I are so excited it’s stupid,” Olson says in a statement. “The last couple years have been pretty amazing for us and just when we thought things couldn’t get any better, the greatest little thing in the world happened! We’re totally beside ourselves.”
Olson, 34, and McElhenney, 32, married in Sept. 2008 in Malibu, Calif.
FX cult hit It’s Always Sunny, which McElhenney created and executive produces, will return for its sixth season in September. Olson most recently appeared in Leap Year as the best friend of Amy Adams.

Miley & Billy Ray Cyrus Salute the Troops – With a Surprise
by admin on Apr.06, 2010, under celeb gossip
Billy Ray and Miley Cyrus
- Hannah Montana stars Billy Ray and Miley Cyrus know how to plan a sneak attack: After inviting dozens of military families to fill the studio audience during the March 12 taping of the hit series, they surprised the audience by inviting them to take part in filming a concert scene for the show.
“My dad has always been super involved with the troops so [the producers] always try to find things that are close to our hearts and that we’re really involved in,” Miley, 17, told PEOPLE.
Adds Billy Ray, 48: “This past December I was in Afghanistan and Iraq and that trip inspired the writers to say let’s do an episode to say thank you to the troops.”
In between takes, all the kids in the studio audience – many of whom have parents who are deployed – were also given the chance to tape greetings to their moms and dads abroad.
“It’s going to be a satellite thing where the troops can see their kids. It’s really cool that they’re having the opportunity to say hi to a mom or dad they haven’t seen in a long time,” Miley explains. “I think that’s the coolest thing.”

A New Direction
With only seven episodes left to tape in the final season of Hannah Montana, Billy Ray can’t help but get sentimental about the series that launched his little girl into the spotlight.
“I’ve gotten to go through this entire journey with Miley and watch her grow not only as a little girl to a young lady but as an actress,” says the proud father. “For any daddy out there to get to go through that with one of their children, it’s an amazing journey.”
Says Miley, who stars in the upcoming Nicholas Sparks drama The Last Song: “I’ve gone these last five years of doing Hannah Montana with everyone telling me what to do and now it’s kind of up to me do what I think is right in my career and I’m just kind of going in my own direction.”
The last season – titled Hannah Montana Forever – will begin airing this July.
Jessica Simpson: I Don’t Want to Die Alone
by admin on Apr.06, 2010, under celeb gossip
Jessica Simpson
- Jessica Simpson is not afraid to poke fun at her past failed romances, but the singer still hopes to find true love.
“I hope I don’t die alone, that’s for damn sure,” she told the audience Wednesday at IHeartRadio presents An Evening with Jessica Simpson in Manhattan.
As for what she’s looking for in a guy, Simpson, 29, says, “Hopefully I can find a man that understands my life and understands my purpose. I just need to find the right man.”
Dating in the public eye is challenging for the star whose new VH1 series, The Price of Beauty, debuts Monday. “It does affect certain decisions. Like, I’d love to go out to dinner with certain people I’ve met but I can’t because everyone would be like, ‘Wow!!! They’re gonna get married!’ “
During the event Wednesday, which included a Q&A sessions with Simpson led by Danielle Morano from Z100’s Elvis Duran and the Morning Show, the singer performed “Who We Are,” the song she co-wrote for The Price of Beauty with pal Billy Corgan. The performance will debut Monday on iheartradio.com and Z100.com.
Todd Bridges Hopes Corey Haim Is at Peace

Corey Haim, Corey Feldman and Todd Bridges in July 2007
- In 2008, Todd Bridges appeared on an episode of the A&E reality show The Two Coreys in an attempt to help Corey Haim get sober. Now, hours after his friend died at age 38, the Diff’rent Strokes star is adding his voice to the number of celebrities paying tribute.
“Corey Haim was a good friend of mine and he will be missed,” Bridges says in a statement. “Too many people are dying way too young and it’s sad because of the loved ones who are left behind to understand what happened and to feel the loss. I hope he’s in a better place.”
Bridges also says he hopes that Haim’s passing will help people who are struggling with sobriety to look closely at their lives.
“I will always love my Brother, and I will never judge him,” his statement continues. “I understand his pain, but I also know now there is a way out. I hope anyone who is dealing with the same stuff gets out before it’s too late. Don’t let the death of others fool you into thinking that it cannot happen to you. If you play with fire, you will get burned.

Marie Osmond Returning to Stage a Day After Son’s Funeral
by admin on Apr.06, 2010, under celeb gossip
Marie Osmond
- A day after laying to rest her 18-year-old son, Michael Bryan, and less than two weeks after putting her Las Vegas show on hold, Marie Osmond takes the stage Tuesday night for a sold-out Donny & Marie show.
“It is important for Marie and her children to get back to a routine that is comfortable for all of them and be together as much as possible,” a close friend tells PEOPLE. “They’re all together and doing their best to return to work and school.”
All 720 tickets for the show at the Flamingo Las Vegas were snapped up. The hit show took a temporary break after Michael committed suicide on Feb. 26 in Los Angeles.
“The fans have been so wonderfully supportive of her throughout this tragic time and thanks to them and the love and support of her family and faith, Marie is just trying to get through this very sad time,” the family friend says.
It wasn’t known how – or whether – Osmond or her brother Donny would address Michael’s death, though the 90-minute show does feature several portions of ad-libbing.
A Flamingo Las Vegas source says the hotel has been flooded with requests from people inquiring on where to send flowers and well wishes. “Everyone has really been rooting for her,” the source says.
Flamingo Las Vegas announced that there will be five extra show dates from April 13-17 to accommodate those who had tickets to recently canceled shows.

When Matthew Settle confirmed his separation from his wife, his Gossip Girl costar Kelly Rutherford could empathize, thanks to being in the middle of a divorce herself.
“He’s going through his own thing, I’m going through my own thing – we kind of just support each other,” she told reporters at this week’s Manhattan premiere of the Discovery Channel’s new nature film, Life.
And the biggest form of support? Bonding over their kids. “We both have small children that we really love, so we both just talk about them the whole time,” says Rutherford, who is mom to Hermes, 3, and Helena, 8 months. “Matthew was saying his daughter, [Aven Angelica, 1], just took her first steps the other day, and he was kind of teary-eyed, it was just beautiful.”
Rutherford, 41, is reserved when it comes to discussing whether she and Settle, 40, could be an off-screen couple. “[Dating] is not really my focus at the moment,” she says. “If it happens, great, but I have the two most beautiful little ones, a great job, and it’s really all-consuming.”
And Rutherford’s 3-year-old is definitely keeping her on her toes. “The other day my son had had way too many M&Ms, and I said. ‘Alright, now that’s enough.’ And he says, ‘Mommy, just a few more.’ And I go, ‘Okay, how about just three more because you’re three?’ He says, ‘No, Mommy, I want as many as you are old!’
“I was like, ‘Honey, they don’t make a packet of M&Ms big enough!’ “
