First tattoo queries…?
1. I'm getting the top of my foot up to just below my knee with asian style waves, with cherry blossoms and a palm tree etc…i've booked in 5 hours for my first session…how long extra do you think it'll take? as im quite poor and that alone is £300
2. In that kinda time would you take a break or two? being a smoker….
3. I have pale skin so will colours show up well? because I want it quite vivid, and how long will they stay that way for, because I always wear shorts and I know you're meant to keep it out of the sun…but it is england…
4. will a couple of hours recovery time be enough to drive after sitting, because people have said you get kinda dreamy haha
5. I'm 18…you guys think thats too young? I want to hear your views, but I have been fascinated by tattoos and wanted them since I was 8…so 10 years in the waiting….and i know i wont regret it!
cheers guys!

Good intro? Does it keep you reading?
“Nothin’ but red rivers and gray earth.” He said, “Nothin’ growin’, no food, or fresh water or a safe place fer ye to hide. The king had sent knights, sparklin’ in shinin’ armor, on high headed horses, to make sure each commoner stayed put.” He paused, pulling up a piece of green grass to fiddle with before going on. “But the weird part is, those there knights, disappeared the next day, only to be replaced by strange men that were pale as the dead, who had ink stained into their skulls, and could run faster than any horse. These men, ye see, could sniff out them Unmarkables, hiding in basements miles away I reckon. And so they did, hunting out each and every one of ‘em. People called ‘em Silents, ‘cause when they’d run in the night, not one ear, even of the keenest, could hear them a comin’.”
I stared down at the holy crest on my fore arm, something the holy men engrave on each babe as they were born, to keep you safe from evil. Gideon saw my weary gaze and gave a whole hearted smile.
“Don’t fret Cleva, it was just a folk tale the boys back home used to nestle into my mind.” He said warmly, looking up into the fading sky.
I smiled lightly, thinking about where Gideon had lived before coming to the valley, leaving my thoughts away from the Silents. He had told me once, in the dead of night in front of a crackling fire, that he was an Unmarkable, and could do things that seemed impossible. He never did tell me what, but he did say that he had run away from people just like him, he was in a rebel group against the king.
After a long silent pause, Gideon turned towards me, with a soft smile between his speckled cheeks.
“Ye realize of course Cleva… that we both will be leavin’ for work soon.” He said, no louder than a whisper on the wind.
I did not reply.
“Don’t worry a single thing though. Things… well, things will get bad in the next comin’ months, but trust me when I say leavin’ the valley will be for the best.” He paused, and then added. “For the both of us.”
I woke up with a jolt from my thin pillow, quickly wishing I hadn’t. The only way I could see Gideon anymore was in dreams that were dreamt on long nights when I couldn’t rest. He would lurk in and out of my dreams, whispering things that we had once whispered.

is this situation awkward?

Is this situation awkward?
now i went to see him off at the railway station..it was a surprise visit.
his mom & younger sis were there..he got up from his seat and asked me to sit in his place..i gave him flowers & chocolates..he said..where will i keep this..& asked his mom to take it home..he introduced me to them..it seemed they did not know i even existed..because his mom asked me is i was in his college & when i said NO,she asked where I work(I do not work in his office)..so i guess basically she wanted to know who I was,,I never tried to explain how i know him(we actually met on the net)..more so because..I and he are not a couple..i was probably feeling a bit awkward..i dont know why..
then after the train left, her momasked me 5 times in 5 minutes to go to their home.& asked where I live & all..I made excuses for not going to their home for the day & said i will visit some other day..she said..now ur frnd is gone u wont come i know(with a sad tone)..then she told me where to get a bus to reach my home early for the day..
so that was it..
question 1)should I have expected that his mother at least would have known that I exist in his life,as a friend(he does not stay with his family, lives at his place of work,in another city)
question 2)why was his mother so curious about me???was she trying to see if i can be her potential daughter-in-law?

Have You Ever Wanted to Consult for a Movie? (transguys, little help please)?
Mouth, my boyfriend, posted a question pertaining to the habits of transmen a few weeks back and well… there was a lack of answering so I figured give it one more shot so our film doesn't end up too undereducated.
He wrote a book last year (it's called Rice Tea, it lives for free download @ RiceTeaDOTca), and is adapting it for independent filming for the summer. He's decided that due to a lack of role models for young transfolks, he'd turn the main male role into a transman (who was cis in the book, or not specifically mentioned as trans… we have yet to decide on that
).
Now, I can tell him about my life as a transman until his ears fall off, but that will only make Seth (the character) a copy of me. That's not what we want. We're trying to take as much detail from as many guys as possible to make Seth genuine and not just a carbon copy of one of us.
So, questions. Feel free to answer, some, all, whatever. My messaging is also available if you don't want to post answers here. Any input we are grateful for, and anonymity is guaranteed if you want it.
- If you had to make some sort of emergency trip and didn't know when you were coming back to your house, what would you be most concerned about bringing along with you pertaining to being trans?
- If you are staying overnight somewhere and the people in the house don't know you are trans, are there any precautions you take to ensure you are not accidentally outted?
- (this is specific to the female loving transmen) Have you been rejected by a female due to your trans status? Did she out and say it was because you are trans or did she make up reasons? Was she nice or nasty about it? What did your pals say in response to her stupid choice? (Mouth worded this one, as he believes anyone who wouldn't date a transman is seriously missing out… oh the love!)
- Binding: What do you use? Do you bind 24-7? When do you take it off/ put it on? What aches and pains do you get? Where? How do you resolve them?
A million and one thank yous for every piece character in your responses! I know someone will say "you should go look this up!", and trust me… I have. Many times, but just spitting out the same old same old is not what we're interested in doing.
Hope everyone is having an awesome day!

PLEASE READ AND COMMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!…
There was a fridge right next to a door. Three other people, a girl and two boys, were sleeping soundly on cots, one in each corner of the room. There was another door marked with a huge sign. Bathroom.
“Where am I?” I whispered to myself. One of the boys turned on his cot and opened his eyes. His sleepy eyes looked up at me and he smiled. Suddenly, he shot up, his eyes wide and frantic.
The boy’s hair was down to his shoulders and platinum blond. My eyes stayed locked on his beautiful gray eyes. My heart threatened to explode, I clutched my chest, trying to get the pain to go away.
“Where am I?” the boy repeated my question. I shook my head, not knowing what to answer. I crossed the room and offered a hand to help him up. The boy took my hand and sat up.
“I’m Isabelle Parker,” I smiled at him.
He shook my hand. “I’m Mason Williams.” Our eyes stayed locked together. A sound came from the other side of the room. My hand was still intertwined with Mason’s. I took my hand back and looked over at a young girl. Her hair was very curly and auburn. It reached her shoulders, like Mason’s.
I backed away, to my cot and sat down, still scared. The small girl opened her eyes and looked around.
“Where am I?” Another question that I couldn’t answer. I pulled my knees up to my chest and waited for the other boy to wake up. His eyes shot open and he sat up, looking confused.
He looked around the room like I did and made his way to the bathroom. This boy seemed more comfortable with where we were than I was.
“Where the hell are we?” the muscular boy came out of the bathroom and leaned against the wall.
This boy looked like a football player. His light brown hair was cropped and his eyes were ocean blue and very wide, like a child’s. He crossed his bulging arms over his chest and sighed.
I ran my fingers through my black hair and looked down at the floor. A hand rested on my shoulder and I looked up to see Mason standing there, a small smile playing on his lips. He sat next to me and placed a hand over mine. I stopped breathing and looked over at him.
“It’ll be okay,” he took over running fingers through my hair. What was he doing this for? No one ever did this before.
“I’ll get breakfast ready,” the girl jumped off her cot and scurried over to the fridge. “By the way, I’m Ginny Stone,” she smiled at the muscular boy.
“I’m Derek Walker,” he smiled back at her. Both of their faces turned bright red and they turned their heads.
“I’m Mason Williams,” Mason stopped running his fingers through my hair.
“I’m Isabelle Parker,” I whispered.
How could I improve this?
