.NET Framework uninstallation?
So is it safe to uninstall 2.0 now that I have 3.0?

3.0 is advanced version of 2.0 there wont be any problem even if you uninstall it… please go ahead in removing the old version
March 26th, 2010 on 3:42 pm
Its probably been overwritten. But otherwise I would guess it would be safe (99%) sure!

I would leave it installed. If Microsoft designed the latest version to be downward compatible, why didn't they include an automatic uninstall feature to remove older versions if they won't be needed anymore? It shows that some programs might not be supported by 3.0 and will still be needing older versions.
