Acekard freezing at load screen?

I have an Acekard 2 and I used to use it regularly, but then I got Pokemon SS and it froze during the game. I figured there would be a patch for it and there was. So I updated my firmware on the acekard site and then tried to play the game again, instead this time I couldn't get passed the first loading screen after you choose the ds slot on the ds. It won't go to the os or anything.

I've spent countless hours trying to fix this, but it's not working. I've tried many firmwares and none of them work. I've followed almost every tutorial on how to setup your acekard, but I still get the problem. I put the files on the first part of my sdhc, the root, and I don't delete stuff or anything. I do the exact same thing as people on youtube or whatever, but it doesn't work for me. I've reformatted my sdhc card 3 times already and I've tried it in to different acekards. My ds is working fine with other games, too.

I really have no idea what the problem is, I've looked everywhere for a solution, but after many tries, nothing works. If anyone can help me, it would be appreciated!
