Access permission for windows xp?

I'm using my office computer and i believe that they have block and prevent user to install software to the computer. i need to install Microsoft office and when i run the setup, the warn pop up 'windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. you may not have the appropriate permission to access the item.'

so, how i can unblock this setting? thank you.

    You must have administrative access on the network or local machine.

    You can….but I wouldn't recommend it. Just call the IT guys and tell them you need Microsoft Office. If they won't install it. Then get you a flash drive and then using your own computer or a friends, download and install openoffice.org portable. You do need to install this on your office computer.     Simple answer is you cannot do it. you have two choices first Get your Administrator to load Software for you or Ask the Administrator to make you an Administrator as well. Then you can load your own software and make other changes to your PC Terminal.
