About the Windows 7 defragmenter?

Is the built-in defragmenter in Windows 7 good enough for defragmenting, or should I stick with a known defragmenter like Auslogics Disk Defrag?

Auslogics is always better than default. either is OK though.

Auslogics is a lot better than the native Windows program, and a LOT faster. But if you want to leave it running while you sleep, the native one will reduce fragmentation also. (Unless you're having a problem, there are two things you shouldn't do – System Restore and defragmentation.) Source(s): 36 years of designing computers
