Now I want to delete the file but it doesn't delete when I click delete it says 'Cannot delete file : cannot read from the source file or disk'
Well what is this error is that file a virus or what ? I even cannot move that file from desktop when i move same error comes 'Cannot move file : cannot read from the source file or disk'

Yes, probably infected and corrupted. I would use an anti-virus or file shredder to remove this file:http://download.cnet.com/File-Shredder/3… or browse for more at the same site.

A simpler way of doing it is from DOS:attrib "\\?\C:\Documents and Settings\username\Desktop\filename." -sdel \\?\C:\Documents and Settings\username\Desktop\filename.OR You can use a third party software called "unlocker" to delete the file permanently Source(s): For more assistance call on: 1 800 237 3901
