2 Different Macbooks – VGA?

I have a macbook (white from 2006) and a macbook (white, 2010). I want to be able to plug in both of them to a VGA complatible screen, not at the same time, but just so i can plug in both. Which adapters should i buy?

Both the 2006 Macbook and the 2010 Macbook have a miniDVI port. So if that monitor you want to use only has an old analog VGA port, then you will need to buy a miniDVI-to-VGA adapter from Apple.Better if the monitor has a DVI port. Then you use a miniDVI-to-DVI adapter.Hope this helps.. Source(s): I own a Macbook.
